Many years, people consider that Punk born in the US with Ramones and in the UK with Sex Pistols. But, a few years ago, and spanish music magazine reveled that punk born here, in Perú, with lince band. And now, Los Saicos, are considered the creators of punk. Obviously, including Perú.

But, punkers wear dirty clothes, broken jeans and dirty long hair. Well, not at all... What was the diference with Los Saicos? Well, the play like the Beatles. Like The Beatles? Yes, like them. They wear coats, pants, shirts, ties and shoes. Oh, they also had short hair.

So, in conclussion, punk is peruvian. HELL YEAH!

And, as Saicos used to sing... Ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ya ya ya ya yaaaa...

Do you play sports or dance?

·         I was doing some tests lately for the University and I found an interested but common question which is “Do you play sports or dance?”
·         And I don’t feel any creative at all in this moment, so this is going to be my topic about.

·         Do you play sports or dance?

No...I used to play karate, swimming, tennis and basketball, those are the sports that I practiced more when I was little. My mom has always this strange idea of playing sports makes you smarter or something like that….my grades were the worst, although I practice so many sports. That’s why my mom said that if I couldn’t be the best in studies, I will be in sports….but I give up. I do love sports, but not in the competitive sense.

I also danced, well, I was a bad dancer. I have to be honest. I was not the best haha…okay…
My Dad told me to be a pretty girl and do some ballet or “modern” dance, which was not at all modern. At first I tried to dance ballet, oh god! Even my sister, who is so nice and concern about my feelings, started to cry of laugh…. It was embarrassing.... so I tried to do some modern dance and I really enjoyed it…

So that’s it. As I said early is an interested but common question so do it (if you want….of course)

Don't drive here LIMA

Don't drive here is a Discovery Channel's program that showed the chaotic traffic here in Lima. I have to confess I felt bad when I saw this documentary.

Well as we know here in Lima we have different kind of vehicles to move from one point to another point, but Do we respect traffic rules? I don't think so. Most of the people who live in Lima suffer the traffic jam every day where also sometimes cars are the responsibles of lots car accidents.

I recomend you to watch this documentary about traffic in lima and check by your own how terrible it is live here.

Well At the end of this video I guess that we are agree about the bad things which are happening every day on roads. So we have much to do to change traffic in lima. In my opinion the problem begin from public transportation drivers up to private drivers because all the time drivers want to be the first on the roads, and they just ignore traffic signals and also ignore traffic lights specially after midnight. So where are our policemen? It is assumed that they are there to enforce the traffic rules.

At the end of it I have to say that Peru and also Lima have beautiful things where tourist can enjoy in their visit but traffic is considered one of the worse things that a tourist could experience

Synthesizer is making the sound of the future

Now a day, music has suffered many changes, some of them are good and others not so good, but there's an instrument which is changing the way that producers are using in order to create new sounds in a track or a song and this instrument is called synthesizer.

Maybe some of you are asking to yourself. What is a Synthesizer?

Well, A sound synthesizer is an electronic instrument capable of producing a wide range of sounds also Synthesizers may imitate other instruments or generate new timbres. They can be controlled via a variety of different input devices such as keyboards, music sequencers and instrument controllers.

Here is an example about the sound of the future

Well. In the video I've showed, the producers have been using synthesizers and the result was this amazing soundtrack. They are called Daft-Punk a couple of french Dj/Producers.

For me this is the new way how producers are changing music around the world. The synthesizers are used to make every kind of music that we could imagine in each music genre such as Pop, Rock, House, D&B, etc.

In my opinion synthesizer has a lot to give for the music world. Just enjoy listening new sounds, here is one.

La casa matusita... True or fake?

In our peruvian lives we all, at least one time, have listened about La Casa Matusita. This old yellow house in the Avenida España.
The legend goes that the house was the scene of a horrible crime; one story claims that a Japanese-Peruvian slaughtered his family and the committed suicide, while another holds that a formal dinner party turned into a massacre after the guests were given hallucinogens.

Ever since, reports are that the second floor has been haunted, with no one able to enter and maintain his or her sanity. In the 1960s, a television reporter was alleged to have gone crazy after entering the building in an effort to prove believers wrong. The second floor remains allegedly remains vacant.
Skeptics have another explanation, however. They say that the ghost stories were invented by the US Embassy, which was located next door during the height of the Cold War. The diplomats feared that someone hiding in the house could spy on the embassy, and fabricated the stories to keep people out.

In the personal way, I've to say something. Years ago, at the left of the house was the school Nazareno. Well, my dad studied there. He told me that 5th grade was at the side of this house. He told me that when the were punished, the have to stay the night at the school, cleaning it. Many nights the heard like dragging chains or how the doors be strongly closed. Nowadays his school is a hostel still being at the side of the house. Fake or not, I want to enter to this house and see what really happens, but who knows?...

My favorite "seiyu": Mamoru Miyano

Today I want to talk about one of the persons I admire. But first I want to explain you something. I'm sure you are asking "What is a "seiyu"?" A seiyu is a Voice Actor. The person who works at this, gives his or her voice to Anime characters or Video Games characters. Being a seiyu is consider a career in Japan.

Mamoru Miyano (or Miyano Mamoru, in Japanese the lastname comes firts) is an example of this. He's one of the best seiyu's in all Japan. He started his career in 1990 giving his voice to Riku, a character of the Video Game "Kingdom Hearts". I knew about him because of Death Note. The main character of this anime has his voice and I really like it. Mamoru is also a singer. He started in 2007, with his firts single "Koun" that means "Eternity". He married in 2008 and now has a son with his wife.

<-- Is cute, isn't he? *-*

For me he is the best Seiyu and a great person. I really admire him, because although he is famous, he's simple and sincere. He really loves his fans and he demonstrates it with every action he does. He's very funny and is not ashamed to be as he actually is, he doesn't make false personalities to please others or to look cool and that's why all his fans love and admire him.

If you are curious about him, here I leave one of his songs. The name is "Hikari, Hikaru", it can be translated as "Shining light". Hope you like it!

Real Music, Real musicians

As my partner Sebastian said lets’ talk about music, those that are produced by the companies and those that are made by real musicians.

First of all, why am I doing this topic?

It´s because I hate superficial pre-fabricated songs, that are more in Pop, R&B, which are always talking about the same thing, such as love, break ups, friend zones and all that teenager stuff that sells. At some point you start getting tired of all the fantasies of those songs.

Another reason is that many artist, that don’t composed, treat their music as something that you can easily replace with another song, they only care about money, so it’s true that they can sing incredible hit songs, but there are empty, it doesn’t have any feelings.

Unlike those pre-fabricated songs, there are indie music, which means independent music.
Indie music is produced by the same musicians, they play the instruments, they strive to make things work, they do awesome performance, they produce beautiful lyrics with deep meaning.... in other words, they produced music that makes you feel alive.

And you feel so because you can hear, through the music, all the effort given by them to make just 3 or more minutes of a song.

They main objective is not to sell, is not to dress nice for each presentation. They just want their music to transmit their message and these are, for me, real musicians.

SHREK

Talking about animated movies, it's my duty say that Shrek was one of my favorites movies, too.

I think the first two movies of this saga were amazing, but the next two weren't fantastic as i thought they would be.

I like this movie because it has a particular language, and  it's not just for children. Parents also can enjoy this movie, even do more than their children.

This movie starts with Shrek, an ogre who lives alone in a swamp. He hates people and people are afraid of him. One day Shrek saved the life to Donkey, an animal whose owner was selling him.

Then, Shrek will have to rescue a princess,  who lives in a castle , from a enormous fire-breathing dragon. The Dragon turns out to be a girl, and she falls in love with Donkey. Donkey, Shrek, and Fiona escape, and Dragon chases them.

We know the end of this movie, but it's amazing how Shrek changed his character when he met Fiona. He discovered a lot of feelings that he didn't know he had. For example, friendship, love, determination and happiness.

Please, make a comment if you saw this movie. Thank you.

Let's talk about music.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9ypq6_5bsg

The oddest thing, perhaps the most famous song of them, is that it is a cover of Phil Medley and Bert Russell. Originally titled Shake It Up Baby.

The appeal of this song is Lennon's voice sounds very worn. It is because the day that recorded the album Please Please Me (The Beatles first album), the last recorded this cover, Lennon's voice was so tired that he had to sing almost scraping voice. This voice was loved by the 4 of Liverpool and now the voice is the most atractive thing of the song.

Uta no Prince-Sama Maji LOVE 1000%

This is one of my favorites anime's (Japanese cartoons). This was based on a video-game. Hope you like it~!

It is about Haruka Nanami, a girl who wanted to become a great composer. To make her dream come true, she enters Saotome Academy, a prestigious performing art school. After this she meets 6 nice guys which want to be idols. During the episodes we can see how Haruka face different kinds of problems and how she and her friends get over these. Finally, she makes a group with the 6 guys calling it STARISH (because of the name of the guys). The first season ends when they make their debut concert with Haruka as her composer.

This anime has a lot of comedy and some romance. As I said is one of my favorites because of the music and the cute guys (haha). Also it is interesting how they can get over the differents troubles that appear so they can reach their goal. This anime teach us that if we have a dream we have to fight until we can make it true and never give up.

If you have some time I recommend this one, it only has 26 episodes (13 each season) and it's really good. If you like music this one is perfect for you.

Hajime no Ippo

Well, if you are bored and you don't have anything to do, you should read this manga, which is a japanese comic, called Hajime no Ippo.

This 24-year-old manga  is about how Ippo, who is a extremely  shy and lonely boy, decided to practice boxing and started to seach the meaning of be strong. It's a boxing manga that have 1000 chapters , it´s long, but not imposible to read.
I really like this manga, because it has comedy and also it´s a little realistic, which is good, because it lost sense when fantasy is in it.
You can learn a lot of this manga, you can learn boxing movements, tactis, the power of  friendship and more.
In every training, every fight, every defeat, you can feel the feelings of Ippo and this  transform you into an excited reader, who wants to follow more and more the story.
So, in the end, I hope you can read it.

Elon Musk Reveals Design for High-Speed Transit System Hyperloop

"Pulled all nighter working on Hyperloop (as did others). Hopefully, not too many mistakes."
That tweet from Elon Musk's personal Twitter account was today's first inkling about a potentially revolutionary way to travel. Musk released the plans for the much-acclaimed Hyperloop, a high-speed transit system linking Los Angeles and San Francisco, on Twitter this afternoon.
Musk has described the Hyperloop as "a cross between a Concord, a rail gun and an air hockey table." The actual plans show that his original description wasn't too far off. He published the 57-page design plan on both Tesla Motors's and SpaceX's blogs as a PDF available for download.
The abridged version is that Hyperloop is a large pneumatic tube, and travel would be similar to the way the Jetson family moved between rooms in its futuristic cartoon household.
One of the stumbling blocks of developing a pneumatic tube system is the Kantrowitz limit, an esoteric aerodynamics formula that says how fast a pod can travel in a tube. Effectively, it's an issue of pressure.
"If the walls of the tube and the capsule are too close together, the capsule will behave like a syringe and eventually be forced to push the entire column of air in the system," the proposal reads. "Not good."

ANIMATED MOVIES

ANIMATED  MOVIES

One of my favorite animated movies is Ice Age. It’s an amazing movie that you can watch and enjoy with your whole family.

This  American animated comedy-drama adventure film  was produced by Blue Sky Studios and distributed by 20th Century Fox. It was directed by Carlos Saldanha and Chris Wedge from a story by Michael J. Wilson.

PLOT

The animals are trying to avoid the ice age by migrating south, except for Manfred, an agitated mammoth who is heading north. Sid, a clumsy Megalonyx sloth left behind by his family, decides to go on by himself and angers Carl and Frank, two Brontops by ruining their salad and is attacked. Sid is soon saved by Manfred, who fights them off. Not wanting to be alone and unprotected, Sid follows Manfred.

Then, they found a baby whose mother has died. Manfred, Sid and Diego, a tiger, begin an adventure to bring the baby with his family. In the way to bring the baby with his family they face lots of adventures to keep themselves alive.

Make a comment if you have enjoyed this movie.
